RNE90370 Dynamic Axial Compression Column (800 mm)

800 mm ID dynamic axial compression column — ≤ 7 MPa working pressure, Ra ≤ 0.2 µm internal finish and H-TREE radial flow distribution in SUS 316L.

An industrial-scale dynamic axial compression (DAC) column for the preparative purification of synthetic peptides, oligonucleotides and small-molecule APIs. A pneumatic hydraulic pump drives the piston to pack, maintain and discharge the bed, giving a stable, reproducible bed height from gram-scale method development up to multi-kilogram production campaigns.

Engineered for reproducible preparative separations at process scale.

  • H-TREE radial distribution technology in both piston and end cap, solving resolution and symmetry issues and preserving linearity on scale-up
  • Three-layer sealing (bowl-type, active and oriented rings) ensures zero leakage under high pressure and long wear life
  • Floating piston design eliminates coaxial tolerance between hydraulic cylinder and column tube
  • Mirror-polished, electro-polished internal surface with Ra ≤ 0.2 µm, seamless steel tube, no red rust or black spots, reducing wall effect
  • Quick chain-clamp end cap for reliable sealing and fast disassembly; whole column system moves for convenient cleaning and maintenance
  • Pneumatic hydraulic pump driven by compressed air, with oil pressure gauge that reflects true bed pressure, pressure regulator, air filter and automatic spillover safety valve
  • End cap and piston storage tools with 360° bull-eye wheels; auxiliary cylinder for effortless transfer of heavy assemblies
  • Full validation package: DQ, FAT, IQ, OQ, material reports, installation and operation manuals, packing list and spare-parts list; 1-year warranty and 24-hour service response

One line, five steps, zero hand-offs

Pack, hold, purify, discharge — hydraulically controlled bed

The column bed is formed and maintained under controlled hydraulic pressure, so bed height and resolution stay reproducible from run to run and scale-up remains linear.

1

Slurry preparation

The 350 L ST350 tank mixes packing solvent and stationary phase with a pneumatic stirrer and feeds the column via diaphragm pump.

2

Column packing

Down packing with the hydraulic cylinder driving the piston to compress the bed to the target height (≤ 350 mm).

3

Pressure holding

The cylinder maintains bed compression throughout the run.

4

Equilibration

Mobile phase is pumped through the radial distributor until the bed is stable and baseline is reached.

5

Load & elution

Sample is loaded and fractions are collected at production flow rates.

6

Discharge & cleaning

The piston rises to discharge the bed; wetted parts are dismantled for cleaning without moving the column.

Please visit our FAQ page before reaching out to our customer support. Our team regularly updates this resource to provide you with the most up-to-date and comprehensive information, saving you valuable time.

Are your machines GMP-compliant?

All DIAGNOSEX process equipment is designed and manufactured in accordance with GMP / cGMP principles. Documentation packages supporting regulatory submissions — including material certificates, calibration records, and design qualifications — are available upon request.

Yes. Vial and stopper formats, throughput, automation level, cleanroom classification, and integration with upstream or downstream equipment can all be tailored to your process. Share your requirements and our engineers will propose a configuration.

Standard configurations generally ship within 8–12 weeks after order confirmation. Customized or fully integrated lines typically require 12–16 weeks, depending on the scope of engineering involved.

Yes. Our engineers provide on-site installation, commissioning, and structured operator and maintenance training. Remote commissioning support and English-language video training are also available.
