Gripper-type suspension design with 360° blind-spot-free imaging, Cognex AI vision, 500 bottles per minute and ≥40 μm detection accuracy for vials, oral liquid and eye drop bottles.
The RGVM-500 is a fully automated visual inspection system for transparent and translucent containers — vials, oral liquid bottles and eye drop bottles. A gripper-type suspension structure holds each bottle in a suspended state while an active rotation system images it through 360° with no blind spots, covering cap, neck, body and base — from cosmetic flaws to foreign particles and liquid fill levels. Optional TDLAS laser-based headspace oxygen analysis and leak-detection modules extend inspection to container integrity.
The RGVM-500 combines a blind-spot-free mechanical design with an AI inspection architecture engineered for high-speed, high-precision pharmaceutical production.

Instead of the bottom-support structure used by conventional inspection machines — which obstructs light and creates inspection blind spots — the RGVM-500 suspends each bottle in a gripper and rotates it actively, so every surface is imaged and evaluated before the bottle is released or rejected.
Bottles are fed and oriented into the inspection chain.
The bottle is held in a suspended state and rotated for full 360° imaging.
21 line-scan cameras capture visible and non-visible light images across cap, neck, body and base.
The Cognex AI vision system classifies defects — cracks, contamination, scratches, foreign particles, fill level — with offline learning.
Good bottles continue down the line; defective bottles are removed via 2 dedicated reject channels.
